The people on the page above are the JG Pest Control team. They are part of a wider group that also includes Vergo Pest Management, our sister company. Vergo is one of the top three pest control providers in the UK by national retail contract revenue and competes directly with Rentokil at the national multi-site tier. Vergo runs its own team structure and operates as a separate commercial brand, but the two companies share ownership, share back-office systems and share technical standards.
The reason this matters to customers is the combination it creates. JG offers the local, reactive, fast-response service that wins residential and single-site commercial work. Vergo offers the nationwide scale that wins multi-site retail contracts. Together the group covers the full UK pest control market, which is what we mean by “local presence, national strength.” A customer who starts with a single JG callout can scale up through county-level cover, regional contracts and full UK multi-site management without ever changing supplier.
Across the group, the technical standard is the same. Every technician dispatched by either brand is a BPCA Level 2 Certified Technician. The certification is held at technician level, not company level. JG itself is not a BPCA member company and we are explicit about that distinction; what matters on a job is the qualification of the person turning up, and that qualification is the standard UK industry certification.

Are JG technicians qualified?
Every JG technician is a BPCA Level 2 Certified Technician. That is the standard UK industry qualification for pest control work, awarded by the British Pest Control Association. The certification is held at technician level. JG Pest Control is not a BPCA member company.
Where are the JG teams based?
JG runs technician fleets from local depots across England. Our densest concentration is in London and the South East, with strong coverage across the Midlands and the North. We organise the technician teams broadly as Heat Team, London and South, Midlands and North, and a dedicated Bird Team.
Does JG do scheduled commercial work as well as reactive callouts?
Yes. The reactive callout book is our largest single revenue line and the thing JG is best known for, but we also hold contracted commercial accounts across hotels, restaurants, schools, councils and offices. For nationwide multi-site retail contracts, our sister company Vergo handles the national tier within the same group.
