This is only a few examples. However, if the asbestos is somewhere where it can remain unharmed then you will be at a lower risk but should still get this checked by a trained professional. So why is it used if it is poor for your health? It is a material that conducts heat and electricity poorly, it resists corrosion, very strong material but flexible and it is malleable so,it can be added to products such as concrete and plastic.

Asbestos Encapsulation

When the fibres and materials of asbestos are known to be damaged but our removal service is not an option due to other circumstances, we are able to encapsulate the materials.

This should keep the existing asbestos in safe condition and prevent the release of fibres.
